Our client is a high-profile accountancy firm with a strong reputation across the region. Their Private Client Tax team advises new-money entrepreneurs, HNW families, business owners and non doms on all areas of their UK personal taxation.

The team is growing and looking to bolster its offering with the appointment of a CTA qualified personal tax Manager. The role would suit a talented Manager (or ambitious Assistant Manager looking to step up), who is looking to be part of a dynamic, high quality Private Client team. Genuine scope exists to progress on to Senior Manager with the support of the team's Directors and Partners. 

The firm has fully-adopted hybrid working and scope exists to work from home 2-3 days a week if one wishes.

The key element of the role will involve managing a portfolio of HNW clients (both UK and international). The position has a planning focus to it, advising on ad hoc income and capital taxes planning projects, with some review of complex compliance.

As very much a client-facing role, the Manager will require excellent relationship management skills. They should also have an interest in identifying business development opportunities on their portfolio, as well as building a third-party referral network in the region.

A super opportunity to join a respected Private Client team.

Our client advises a prominent client base of UK and international UHNWIs, families (old and new money) and family offices. Their Trusts team is growing and keen to appoint a Trusts & Tax Assistant Manager to oversee the tax and accounts compliance on a varied portfolio of trust structures. You'll also advise HNWIs more broadly on IHT and estate planning. In addition, scope exists to work with high-profile Partners on associated trust structuring advice.

The incoming individual will have demonstrable experience of preparing trust accounts and trust tax returns. They will be an accomplished client relationship manager with strong communication skills and are likely to hold an accounting or tax qualification. They should also be interested in pursuing the STEP qualification with our client’s support.

Genuine opportunities exist to progress swiftly towards Manager grade, in what is a growing and dynamic Trusts team. Salary dependent on experience but likely to be in the region £52k - £62k + bens. Ref 697

Our client is a respected mid-sized London accountancy firm, that has built a strong reputation in the Private Client field. Their team is independently recognised for the strength of its expertise. They advise an impressive HNW client base including on and offshore trusts, estates, family office and probate work.

Their Trusts & Estates team is growing and is keen to appoint an experienced Trusts accountant at Senior Manger level.

The role will involve overseeing a high quality portfolio of trusts, their accounts, taxation and administration. The incoming individual will manage a team of trusts professionals and ensure the annual compliance cycle is completed effectively. This will include reviewing complex tax returns and accounts, handling complicated administration issues and performing very much a client-facing relationship management role.

They will also work closely with directors and partners on ad hoc trust planning projects - creation, restructuring and cessation.

The successful candidate is likely to be STEP qualified and will certainly have extensive experience of advising on trust taxation, accounts and administration. 

For the right person, scope exists to progress on to AD and Director grades.

The firm is modern and forward-thinking in its outlook. It is embracing agile working and offers flexible hours where required. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £82k-£92k + bens. Ref 714

With the support of experienced Directors and Partners, the incoming individual will take responsibility for a portfolio of private clients, managing key relationships and handling their annual personal tax compliance. Scope also exists to assist with ad hoc capital taxes planning.

Very much a client-facing role, the individual will require excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with demonstrable experience of advising HNWIs on income tax, CGT and IHT. Some knowledge of trusts would be helpful and experience of advising UK resident non domiciles on residence, remittance and the SRT, would be useful.

In return, our client has built a strong track-record of supporting and developing its staff. They offer early responsibility, an agile working culture and the opportunity to progress on to Manager and Senior Manager grades.

Our client is one of London’s prominent accountancy firms. Their Tax Dispute Resolution team handles high-end tax investigations work and offers an exciting career path towards Manager and Senior Manager grades.

They are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to work closely with the Directors and Partners on a broad range of tax investigation enquiry work. Liaising directly with clients, you will assist with the day to day running of investigations, as well as preparing investigation reports and submissions to HMRC. Ultimately ensuring satisfactory outcomes are reached for all parties.

Strong communication skills, combined with personal tax technical knowledge, are therefore essential.

The successful candidate is likely to be CTA qualified (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate experience of working on tax investigations, as well as a willingness and ability to develop their skills in that area. COP8/9 experience will be particularly valued.

You could be a private client tax professional with experience of tax investigations and looking to specialise in that field. Alternatively, you could already be working in a Tax Dispute Resolution team and be looking for the next step in your career. 

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications but likely to be in the region £50,000 - £60,000 + bens.
