Manager
Tunbridge Wells

Our client offers high quality, new-money entrepreneurial Private Client Tax work without the commute into London.

You’ll join an established and high-profile team, advising regional, London and international wealth. The client base includes PE executives, HNW business owners, serial entrepreneurs and wealthy families. The team undertakes  income and capital taxes planning, shareholder planning, exit strategies for business owners, property-related advice, residence/domicile issues and succession planning.

The team is busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional CTA at Manager level. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of HNW/UHNW individuals and their families, as their key trusted adviser. This will involve identifying and advising on ad hoc personal tax planning projects, as well as overseeing complex compliance. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced partners and to build a name for yourself in the region. There is also scope to work with partners and directors on networking and business development initiatives.

The role would suit an experienced London Assistant Manager or Manager looking to pursue their Private Client Tax career outside the Capital. Alternatively, a CTA from a strong regional practice locally. Either way, support will be provided with progression towards SM and Director grades. Some PE-related personal tax experience would be helpful, but is not essential. Strong previous experience of income and capital taxes planning for HNWIs is important.

Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region £55k-£65k + bens.

The firm encourages a healthy work/life balance culture, including hybrid working. So if you’re looking to take your career forward whilst also enjoying life in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding Kent countryside, email michaelhowells@howellsconsulting.co.uk quoting Ref 5140
