We are keen to speak to CTA qualified personal tax Managers and top-end Assistant Managers, who may be interested in a new, advisory-focused role in Cambridge.

As a key member of a high-profile Private Client Tax team, you’ll advise HNW entrepreneurs, business owners, families, trusts and landed wealth on all areas of their income and capital taxes planning.

You’ll work closely with respected Partners, developing your technical, managerial and business development experience in what is a friendly and supportive environment. 

The incoming individual will need to have a strong technical grasp of income tax, CGT and IHT planning for HNWIs (including the use of trusts), with experience of advising new-money entrepreneurial private clients. Experience of succession planning and / or international personal tax (FIG regime, residence etc) would be particularly valued.

The firm has adopted hybrid working and flexible hours, with homeworking possible 2-3 days a week. Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the range £60k-£70k + bens.

Join a high-profile Private Client Tax team advising regional, London and international wealth. Work includes income and capital taxes planning for wealthy families, shareholder planning, exit strategies for business owners, property-related advice, residence/domicile issues, PE work and IHT succession planning.

The team is busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional CTA at Senior Manager level. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of HNW/UHNW international private clients, as their key trusted adviser. This will include overseeing their annual compliance (managing a team of junior tax advisers), but predominantly involve identifying and advising on ad hoc personal tax planning projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced partners and to build a name for yourself in the region.

The role would suit a London an experienced Manager or Senior Manager looking to pursue their Private Client Tax career outside the Capital. Alternatively, a CTA from a strong regional practice locally. Either way, support will be provided with progression towards AD and Director grades. Salary will be dependent on experience, but is likely to be in the region £75k-£90k + bens.

The team is busy, growing and keen to recruit a CTA qualified Manager. You will provide ad hoc personal tax planning and asset structuring advice to multi jurisdictional families, entrepreneurs, business owners and family offices. Strong experience of advising on residence, domicile and remittance-related personal tax planning is therefore important.

You'll work with leading private client tax Directors and Partners, who will help you to develop your technical and non-technical skills - assisting with the progression towards Senior Manager and Director grades.

This is a sociable and supportive firm that has adopted hybrid and flexible working. So there is scope to work from home 2-3 days a week, if one wishes. Salary to £75,000 (dependent on experience) plus bonus and benefits.

We’re working closely with one of London’s most respected advisers to HNWIs. Their Personal Tax team provides advice to international entrepreneurs, UHNW families, family offices, sports & entertainment stars and dynamic business owners.

Demand for their expertise continues to grow and the team is keen to recruit an additional member at Personal Tax Assistant Manager grade. You will need to be CTA qualified with experience of advising international HNW private clients on a wide range of income and capital taxes issues. Experience of the FIG regime, residence, domicile, remittance and ATED is important.

You will take responsibility for an impressive portfolio of new-money clients, acting as a primary point of contact. You'll oversee their annual personal tax compliance, whilst also identifying and assisting with ad hoc tax planning projects. Strong relationship management and communication skills are therefore important.

The firm has been recognised for its collegiate, encouraging and supportive environment. The team offers hybrid working (typically 2-3 days a week in the office) and are keen to find someone with the ability to be supported with progression to Manager and on towards Senior Manager grade in due course. As a Partner, you will help shape the direction of the Private Client Tax offering, assist with developing the team and deliver high end personal tax advice.

The Role

Client Advisory

  • Act as trusted lead adviser to a varied portfolio of HNW private clients
  • Provide considered, commercially aware advice across a broad range of private client tax matters
  • Oversee personal tax compliance with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Manage risk in line with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
  • Take ownership of client relationships, including fee discussions, expectation management, and delivery of work
  • Assemble and lead small, high-performing teams tailored to client needs

Business Development & Relationships

  • Develop new client relationships through referrals, introductions, and long-term networks
  • Nurture and expand an established client base through thoughtful cross-service collaboration
  • Play an active role in promoting the firm’s private client expertise in a measured and authentic way
  • Contribute to client events, publications, and other profile-raising initiatives

Practice & Team Development

  • Contribute ideas regarding the ongoing development of the private client practice

Technical Contribution

Experience & Attributes

  • Chartered Tax Adviser with significant private client tax experience
  • Strong technical grounding across UK income tax, IHT and CGT issues including succession planning, the use of trusts and international (residence/domicile) advice.
  • Experience delivering bespoke advice to high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Comfortable contributing to articles, presentations, and client-facing materials
  • A practical understanding of tax technology and its role in client delivery
  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a calm and confident advisory style
  • Collegiate, personable, and relationship-focused
  • Organised, accountable, and able to manage priorities effectively
  • Commercially minded, with a discreet and entrepreneurial approach

Very much a client-facing role, the individual will require excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

The CTA qualification is a pre-requisite, along with demonstrable experience of advising HNWIs on income tax, CGT and IHT. Some knowledge of trusts would be helpful and experience of advising UK resident non domiciles on residence, remittance and the SRT, would be useful.

They are busy, growing and keen to appoint an additional Trusts & Tax adviser at Senior Manager level (c.£70k-£80k dependent on experience).

The incoming individual will work closely with highly experienced directors and partners, providing holistic tax and trusts planning advice.

The role will involve overseeing a portfolio of offshore and onshore trusts.
